These actresses, some of whom have worked closely with her, have shared troubling
‘experiences about their time in Hollywood and interactions with Oprah, accusing
her of contributing to their challenges in the entertainment industry.
Mo’Nique’s Outspoken Criticism
One of the most notable voices is Mo’Nique, an Oscar-winning actress, who has
‘openly criticized Oprah on several platforms. During a 2019 interview, Mo’Niaue
alleged that Oprah, along with Tyler Perry and director Lee Darel, colluded to
blackiist her in Hollywood.
‘According to Mo’Nique, this treatment stemmed from her refusal to promote the
200 movie *Precious’, despite winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting
Actress for her role in the film.
