It was a beautiful day in Columbus, Ohio, on November. I was walking down the street when I saw a golden kitten sleeping on a chair. The kitten had a silky golden coat, bright blue eyes, and a round, chubby face.
I quietly sat down next to the kitten and began to observe. The kitten was sleeping soundly, its eyes closed, its pink nose gently rising and falling with each breath. Its ears twitched slightly, as if it were hearing sounds in its dreams.
I reached out and stroked the kitten’s soft golden fur. The kitten startled awake, opening its eyes to look at me. The kitten’s blue eyes shone with surprise and delight. It rubbed its head against my hand, as if it wanted to be friendly.
I smiled and said to the kitten, “Hello, little one, what’s your name?”
The kitten didn’t answer, just blinked its eyes at me. I continued to stroke its fur, and the kitten began to curl up, as if it wanted to be held.
I picked up the kitten and held it in my arms. The kitten meowed once and then buried its head in my chest. I could feel the warmth from the kitten’s body, and it made me feel incredibly happy.
I sat there for a long time, just looking at and stroking the kitten. The kitten lay in my arms, purring contentedly. I knew that the kitten loved being held.
When it was time to go, I reluctantly let the kitten go. The kitten looked at me with sad eyes, as if it didn’t want me to leave. I promised the kitten that I would come back to visit soon.
I stood up and walked away, but my heart was still longing for the kitten. I turned back to look at the kitten one last time, and the kitten was still looking at me, its eyes glistening with sadness.
I knew that I would never forget the golden kitten with the chubby face. The kitten had brought me moments of happiness and joy.
