Lion – lord of the jungle, it’s not natural that people say so, perhaps because of the peak hunting ability that no one can match. They are really dangerous and scary, every prey once caught in their sight cannot escape and will leave the body behind.
During a casual visit to the forest, we encountered a scene of 2 lions tearing apart a kudu under a tree, the lion continuously biting deeply into the neck and then back into the stomach of the kudu. mercilessly.
Kudu is clearly suffering from shock syndrome, he doesn’t react to being bitten and pulled by him. It didn’t make any distressing sounds even though it was clearly alive.
This would explain why it doesn’t cause much competition or fighting with lions. Essentially, at this point in the kudu’s life, it is barely aware of any pain response. It was as if it had just been injected with a giant dose of morphine. It knows it’s over. It knows it has been caught and will be finished; That’s why he gave up and let the cats do what he wanted.
For a while the kudu fell silent and apparently died in the joy of the other two lions.
So what is the lesson here that we should never give in or surrender early, but fight until the last breath, even when our opponent is very aggressive.
