Patrick Mahomes is proving once again that he’s a team player both on and off the field. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback accompanied his wife, Brittany Mahomes, on a work trip Thursday, taking on an unexpected role—carrying her breast milk.
Brittany, 29, shared the lighthearted moment with her Instagram followers, posting a photo of Patrick sitting in the backseat of a car dressed in all black, holding two portable breast pumps in his hands.
“With my boo and he’s got the goods,” she joked, adding a crying-laughing emoji to her post.
The trip marked a significant milestone for Brittany as well, as she documented behind-the-scenes moments from her “first commercial shoot.” She even teased that she had temporarily “kicked [Patrick] out” of her trailer during filming. Later in the day, the longtime couple enjoyed some quality time together, snapping a cozy selfie from their “date night.”
The Mahomes family recently grew by one, as the couple welcomed their third child, daughter Golden, last month. She joins older siblings Sterling, 4, and Bronze, 2.

Brittany has been open about her experience with breastfeeding and the tools that make it easier for her as a busy mom. In January, she shared a tour of Golden’s nursery, highlighting a glider chair she described as perfect for “breast-feeding, bottle-feeding [and] reading books.”
The former soccer player has also raved about the convenience of the wearable Elvie breast pump, which allows her to multitask effortlessly—including during Patrick’s NFL games.
“You can take it anywhere,” she explained in a previous Instagram Story. “I literally pop it into my bra at football games, while I’m driving, literally anywhere. Nobody notices.”
She even showcased the device while doing Pilates last year, demonstrating how it fits seamlessly into her active lifestyle. In a humorous moment from 2021, Brittany playfully responded to online speculation about her appearance, saying, “Haters will say [my breasts] are fake … breast-feeding moms will understand.”
Patrick and Brittany, who have been together since high school, tied the knot in March 2022. The Super Bowl-winning quarterback has never shied away from crediting his wife for her unwavering support, calling her a “Hall of Fame” partner.
“People don’t even realize how much she does, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft,” Mahomes said on the Impaulsive podcast in May 2024.
Now, he’s proving that support goes both ways—even if it means carrying a little extra baggage.
