Aquaman’ actress Amber Heard is standing by Blake Lively as the ‘Gossip Girl’ star sues co-star and director Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and a smear campaign.

Amber Heard said she was familiar with Blake Lively’s situation after learning Justin Baldoni had hired the same public relations team Johnny Depp hired for their 2022 trial.
“Social media is the epitome of the classic saying: ‘A lie travels halfway around the world before the truth gets its shoes on.’ I’ve seen it firsthand. It’s both horrifying and devastating,” Amber told NBC News .

Two years ago, Johnny Depp won a lawsuit against Amber Heard after accusing her of defaming him by writing an editorial alluding to his ex-husband’s abuse. After a weeks-long trial, Johnny won the support of the jury and the “court of public opinion.” Meanwhile, Amber had to pay $10 million in damages for defamation and was boycotted by many people. Johnny Depp is said to have hired a team of lawyers and media experts to handle this lawsuit.
Last week, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni , her It Ends With Us co-star and director , for sexual harassment on set. Blake Lively accused Baldoni of improvising kissing scenes and physical intimacy. She also accused him of gratuitously adding sexual content that was not scripted and of publicly bragging about his conquests and past pornography addiction.

According to Blake, the crew held an internal meeting to address Justin Baldoni’s misconduct. However, Blake said that Justin Baldoni and his associates then embarked on an elaborate media plan to retaliate against her, threatening to reveal what happened and deliberately tarnishing her image.
Blake Lively is currently supported by many artists and colleagues amid the lawsuit. Writer Colleen Hoover – author of the novel It Ends With Us – spoke out to praise actor Ryan Reynolds’ wife: “You have always been honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met. Thank you for being you. Never changing. Never fading.” Colleen posted a photo of herself hugging Blake Lively.
Blake’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn issued a joint statement in support of the actress: “As Blake’s close friends and sisters of 20 years, we stand in solidarity with her in her fight against this campaign to destroy her reputation. Throughout Blake’s time filming It Ends with Us , we watched her muster the courage to demand a safe workplace for herself and her colleagues on set. We are appalled to read the evidence of retaliatory efforts to silence her voice.”
Justin Baldoni has denied all of Blake Lively’s allegations, saying she filed the lawsuit to save her reputation. However, over the weekend, the director was fired by talent agency WME. Meanwhile, Blake is still a client of the agency.
Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively are the two main actors in the film It Ends With Us directed by Justin. The film is based on the best-selling novel of the same name, released in August, a box office success with a revenue of more than 350 million USD. During the promotion of the film, Justin and Blake did not appear together, sparking rumors of conflict. After that, Blake received a lot of criticism for choosing a promotion method that was different from the spirit of the film. At the same time, past videos were dug up, focusing on the actress’s bad behavior, negatively affecting her image.
