Angel Reese has lashed out on those on social media who claim to have an idea of the Chicago Sky star’s relationship status.

Reese is one of the biggest stars of the most recent WNBA Draft class, with everything she does seemingly under the microscope as fans attempt to get a better understanding of her personal life. That curiosity surrounding her is why fans often speculate on her love life.

However, it appears as if Reese has grown tired of the constant assumptions made about her life away from basketball. On X, the 22-year-old posted a message aimed at those who attempt to get inside scoops on her life and what she will be doing moving forward.

“Now i see why people hide relationships & keep everything private,” Reese’s post began, with a crying emoji. “like i don’t think i’ll ever openly share that part of my life with yall again until im married cause yall do THE MOST!”

Reese then followed up that post with another promise: “it will literally have to be all assumptions & speculations cause absolutely NOT,” with a crying and a rolling laughter emoji. The star forward has confirmed she is single, despite rumors that she could be dating Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren.

Recently, Reese was spotted wearing a Pistons hoodie, which fueled the fire that the two could be in a relationship. However, that rumor was never substantiated and in a recent episode of ‘Unapologetically Angel,’ the star clarified her relationship status and what she looked for in a potential partner.

“I’m not looking for a man. I’m looking just for happiness in life,” she told Shaquille O’Neal on the episode. When pressed by O’Neal on what qualities she is looking out for in her perfect partner, she stated: “A high caliber man. A smart, nice and genuine man. But he cannot be a house husband.

“I like danger. I want people to think my man is attractive yes. He’s got to be a strong, confident man.” And while Reese continues to look for her perfect partner, the 22-year-old did share advice to star prospect Kiyan Anthony, the 17-year-old son of former NBA star Carmelo Anthony.

The younger Anthony was a guest on ‘Unapologetically Angel,’ where the two spoke on myriad of topics including playing professional basketball and dating as an athlete. It was at this point that Reese made sure to properly explain to the budding star how relationships with older women could be disastrous for his career.

You need to be careful,” Reese told Anthony when the two discussed the rumor that the 17-year-old had a fling with 39-year-old Draya Michele. “When you go to the league, [and] this is coming from ‘sis’ – even when you’re in college, you need to be careful with these women.

[Kiyan], don’t do it. I’m coming after y’all…. Because you’re 17, it’s the woman you’ve got to worry about that [are] a lot older too. Be careful. We not playing. You can’t be having anybody over there [at your place]. And you tell them girls to drop their phone at the door.”

Reese was most recently in a relationship with fellow basketball star Cam’Ron Fletcher. However, the two split in March, with Reese posting: “Yeah, I’m single. I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it.”
