The Indianapolis Colts enjoyed a largely positive atmosphere during their Sunday matchup against the Miami Dolphins, with fans demonstrating good behavior throughout the game. Colts owner Jim Irsay took to social media to highlight the fan conduct, noting that only two individuals were ejected from the packed house at Lucas Oil Stadium, and surprisingly, neither ejection was due to fighting.

“Fun fact…We had two ejections on Sunday, in a packed house @ Lucas Oil Stadium. Two. And not for fighting,” Irsay tweeted, sharing the positive news with fans on Twitter (now X).

This encouraging update reflects well on Colts supporters, showing they maintained good sportsmanship even with a large contingent of Dolphins fans making the trip to Indianapolis. Irsay’s comment underscores his pride in the team’s fan base, emphasizing how well they represented the organization in front of visitors.

Beyond fan behavior, Colts fans had more to celebrate as the team secured a crucial 16-10 victory over the Dolphins, improving their season record to 4-3. After a rocky start to the year, the Colts are now firmly in the playoff conversation, setting up an exciting stretch of games ahead.

In Sunday’s contest, running back Tyler Goodson provided the Colts’ only touchdown, while kicker Matt Gay contributed three field goals, sealing the win for Indianapolis. The victory showcased a gritty performance, with the Colts defense stepping up to hold off Miami’s offense in a hard-fought battle.

Looking ahead, the Colts face two consecutive road games against the Houston Texans and the Minnesota Vikings before returning home for a November 10th showdown against the Buffalo Bills. As the Colts continue their playoff push, Irsay will be hoping for more of the same great fan behavior when they welcome the Bills to Lucas Oil Stadium.

For Irsay, the focus remains on celebrating Colts fans and encouraging them to show their passion for the team while maintaining a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for all attendees.

If Sunday’s game against the Dolphins is any indication, Colts supporters are rising to the occasion, both on and off the field.
